    Description:
    A beautiful, rare, and very fine Banknote from Ethiopia. This is the 1 May 1932, one hundred Thalers currency note issued by the Bank of Ethiopia. The front of the banknote is blue on multicolored and orange background. The front shows a bank building to the left, the Lion of Judah (the symbol of Ethiopia; Crowned Lion Passant holding a cross) in the top middle and an elephant coming out of the bushes to the right. The back, which is brown on multicolored background, depicts Palm fronds. The banknote displays the denomination on both the front and back. It has one signature on the front and has the serial number D/1 01931, which is displayed twice on the front. The note is graded by PMG as Very Fine 25 with the notation "Pinholes , Annotation" and comes in a plastic holder so marked. It does have many pinholes and light annotation in red on the back. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
